How It Works
From infant to infinity anyone can choose from our wide selection of ceramic pieces, grab a brush, some paint and create a masterpiece!
Walk-in anytime during our studio hours (Mon-Saturday from 12 to 8 p.m.; Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m.) to paint pottery in-studio with us, make a mosaic masterpiece, or pick a to go project to paint at home - No reservation necessary! Note: Last seating for new painters is 1 hour prior to the posted closing time.
Pieces are left with us to be kiln-fired and are ready for pick up in 1 week!
1 - Pick Out Your Pottery
Walk-in any time to browse around and pick out your pottery to paint. Each piece is marked with a price that includes your paints, clear glazing and firing - no studio fee required!
2 - Relax and Paint
Stay a while and hang with us - we’ll help you find the tools you need to bring your vision to life! Bring your favorite sips & snacks (beer/wine/food welcome) for an extra special creative date!
3 - Pick Up Your Masterpiece!
After painting, we’ll work our magic so your piece will be fired and ready to go to its new home in one week!
TOOLS & TECHNIQUES
At The Pottery Place of Chattanooga, we’ve got the skills that thrill! Our design center comes equipped with over 200 custom silk screens, stamps, lace, sponges, bubbles, specialty glazes, stencils and many more tools to spark your imagination and help you bring your creative vision to life. The best part? Our staff is friendly and happy to help. So go ahead, pick your favorite technique and we’ll teach you all about it, step by step!
